
Terms of Service.
Effective Date: December 2025 Thank you for using Piloteer. These Terms explain how our platform works and what you agree to when you use it. If you use Piloteer on behalf of a company, you confirm you have permission to do so. Enterprise agreements override anything here.
1. Using Piloteer
You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. You are responsible for your account and keeping your login details safe. Use Piloteer only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the platform or other users.
2. Your Data and Your Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using Piloteer, you agree to that policy.
We use industry standard security controls to protect your data. This includes encrypted storage and transmission, restricted access, and monitoring tools that align with recognized best practices.
3. Meeting Data and Consent
Piloteer analyzes communication and behavioral signals from meetings. This may include transcripts, audio, video frames, tone, sentiment, and interaction patterns.
You are responsible for getting any required consent from meeting participants and following local laws for recordings and data capture.
Piloteer is designed to help improve leadership, communication, and team performance. It is not employee surveillance software and should not be used as such.
4. How AI Outputs Work
Piloteer uses AI models and behavioral science frameworks to generate insights, suggestions, and scores.
AI outputs are estimates. They may not always be perfect or complete. They are meant to support good decision making, not replace it. Do not use Piloteer for medical, legal, safety critical, or high risk decisions.
5. Who Owns What
You own your Customer Data. Piloteer owns the platform, the models, the scoring frameworks, the insights, the tips, and all related intellectual property.
When Piloteer processes your data, we may create anonymized and aggregated analytics. Piloteer owns those analytics and uses them to improve the platform.
You agree not to copy, reverse engineer, rebuild, or create competing tools based on Piloteer.
6. Partners, Coaches, and Admins
If you work with a coach or a partner who uses Piloteer, you give us permission to share the data and insights needed for them to support you.
Your organization’s administrators may have access to certain insights depending on the settings your company chooses.
7. API and Embedded Use
If you use Piloteer through an API or embed our sensing inside another application, you agree to follow our documentation and usage limits. Do not scrape, extract, or use Piloteer to train competing systems.
8. Things You Cannot Do
You may not:
Use Piloteer to monitor employees in secret Use Piloteer outputs as the sole basis for hiring, firing, or disciplinary action Try to access the platform in unauthorized ways Use Piloteer to build or assist a competing product Misrepresent Piloteer insights as factual findings
9. Service Changes and Availability
Piloteer improves constantly. We may update or change features at any time.
We do not guarantee any specific uptime or feature set unless stated in an enterprise contract.
10. Analysis Minutes
Subscription plans include monthly analysis minutes. Unused minutes roll over while your subscription is active. If your subscription lapses, all unused minutes expire immediately. They are not refundable or recoverable.
11. Disclaimers
Piloteer is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted service.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Piloteer is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
13. Your Responsibility
You agree to cover any losses or claims that result from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control such as natural disasters, war, labor disruptions, or government actions.
15. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue to use Piloteer after updates take effect, you accept the new Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association.
